Faridkot: Faridkot constituency is one of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab. Currently, the parliamentary constituency is represented by congress (INC) leader, Mohammad Sadique.

Till now, Hans Raj Hans from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Karamjeet Anmol from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are the prominent candidates.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the dates for the Lok Sabha elections on 16 March. India will go to polls in seven phases starting April 19 and the counting of votes will be done on June 4.

Faridkot Constituency Punjab Lok Sabha Election Result 2019

In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections for the Faridkot constituency in Punjab, a total of 9,75,242 voters were registered. The voter turnout percentage stood 63.25%, The winner received votes equivalent to 43% of the total registered voters.

The sitting Member of Parliament (MP) was Ram Tahal Choudhary. In this election, Mohammad Sadique (INC) secured 4,19,065, while the runner-up candidate, Gulzar Singh Ranike (SAD), received 3,35,809 votes. The victory margin between the winner and the runner-up was 83,256 votes. The NOTA voters were 19,246 (2%), according to India Votes.

India is conducting its Lok Sabha Elections 2024 in seven phases from April 19 to June 1.The results of Faridkot constituency will be declared on June 4th along with other constituencies.
