A car barreled into a convenience store in Dracut, MA Friday night. Surveillance video from Dracut Center Convenience shows the car smashed through the entrance of the store. One angle shows the vehicle slam through the shelves behind the register and continue into an aisle before coming to rest after slamming into a sign. "The business was still open when it came through, so it could have been a lot more tragic than it had been if the cashier was standing there," said Thomas Mackey of the Dracut Fire Department.Police said the driver said she mistakenly stepped on the gas when she meant to push the brake pedal.No injuries were reported. The driver was cited with negligent driving.
