(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Manama, Feb. 22 (Petra)-Several Jordanian agricultural companies are participating in the Bahrain International Garden Show, which kicked off its activities in Manama on Wednesday evening.
The week-long exhibition contains platforms for around 155 exhibitors dedicated to educational institutions, civil society organizations, agricultural nurseries and world agricultural companies.
The event, organized by the National Initiative for the Development of the Agricultural Sector in Bahrain, includes a children's pavilion aimed to raise their awreness on healthy food practices and patterns.
During the exhibition, specialized workshops on the quality of food products will be held to familiarize the field's leaders with the production methods and to open horizons of cooperation for fresh business partnerships.
The show showcases services, technologies and agricultural information, a bid aimed to develop skills and knowledge of stakeholders in this vital sector.
The United States, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Greece, the United Kingdom, Japan, India, China, Indonesia, Turkey, Mali, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Morocco and Syria are taking part in the Mnama event alongside Jordan.
