WGMD Fishing Report 11-7-18

Wednesday saw fairly good weather, but seas were still riled up from the previous storms.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid managed to have a very successful tog trip returning with a good catch that included five citation fish to 9.76 pounds.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle Clark said the only fish he heard about was a lone speckled trout caught from the Inlet.

At Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em the report was no fish seen all day.

The weather report for Thursday looks fair and perhaps the fish will choose to cooperate.  If we get some clean water inshore the tog bite could turn on at the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers.  The surf could see small blues and perhaps a few kings.  The Del-Jersey-Land and Site 11 should still hold sea bass.

Friday’s weather report has us back in the dumpster again and it is also the first day of Delaware’s shotgun deer season.  Fishing will take a backseat to hunting for the next week and this year for the first time hunters will be allowed to go after deer on Sunday.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD Fishing Report.
