YEREVAN.- Armenian PM Karen Karapetyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Armenia Sorin Vasile who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.

Karen Karapetyan expressed satisfaction with the Ambassador's work and attached importance to the further development of the Armenian-Romanian relations, especially in the economic sphere. The head of the government attached importance to the role of the bilateral intergovernmental commission.

The Ambassador emphasized that he leaves our country with the best memories and assured that he would try to contribute to the strengthening of the Armenian-Romanian relations in the future.

Mr. Vasile noted that he was watching the government's recent economic successes and expressed confidence that the agreement signed with the EU would enable Armenia to become a good platform for cooperation between the European Union and EAEU. According to the ambassador, Armenian products, especially agricultural products have good quality and can have access to the Romanian market.

At the end of the meeting Karen Karapetyan thanked Sorin Vasile for his work and wished him success in his future activities.
