A reunion like no other. This is the first time Timothy Hill and Penn Hills police officer Jason Bonace have seen each other, since a dramatic rescue in Penn Hills.
Bonace called Hill a walking miracle, while visiting him and his dog named Boss Monday.
On Friday, Hill had a chance to escape from his SUV, before careening of the cliff, but he didn't want to leave his dog.
He said, "I was going to jump out the car, but I raised him. I wasn't going to leave him."
Hill and Boss were rescued by Bonace and his team, hours after Hill's vehicle plunged over an embankment at Lincoln and Grove Roads in Penn Hills.

Bonace said, "It was a little scary at the end when they lifted me up and they spun us around and going up I saw the cliff. I was fine. I knew it was behind me but then I got turned around and I looked down and I realized how high we really were."
Back on the ground, Bonace and Hill realized they have a lot in common.
Hill is retired law enforcement and appreciates all that was done for him and his pet.
