YEREVAN. – During the intergovernmental session, we proposed Armenia to set up an elevator equipment manufacturing enterprise. The co-chair of the Armenian-Belarusian intergovernmental meeting and Minister of Forestry of Belarus, Vitaly Drozhzha, said this in a conversation with journalists in Yerevan.

According to him, this proposal was made given that Armenia pays serious attention to infrastructural projects, including passenger and transport services. "During the session, the Belarusian side offered to discuss the possibility of supplying agricultural machinery using a financial mechanism such as leasing," he stated. "In addition, the issue of supplying quality food products to the Belarusian market from Armenia was discussed."

The minister added that both sides intend to increase their trade to up to $100 million.
