Cairo, Oct. 10, 2021, SPA -- Egypt condemned the terrorist attack that targeted today a convoy of Aden Governor Ahmed Hamed Lamlas and Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Salem Al Socotri today, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries.
A statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on all Yemeni parties to renounce violence and work for the interests of the Yemeni people, in order to achieve a comprehensive political settlement realizing the aspirations of Yemenis towards a secure and prosperous homeland.
Egypt affirmed its solidarity with Yemen in confronting brutal terrorism, expressing sincere condolences to the Yemeni government and people as well as the families of the innocent victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
