Santa Fe volleyball's Jalyn Stout and Anisa Dorlouis both turned the page on their storied careers with the Raiders on Wednesday night as the dynamic duo inked their scholarships to play Division I volleyball.

Stout's signature sends her to Coastal Carolina, while Dorlouis is bound to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

The pair's signing ceremony put a bookend on their high school careers, which saw them help Santa Fe post an impressive 59-5 record and repeat as Class 4A state champions in the last two seasons.

Stout set to join CCU's historic recruiting class

Stout is one of five signees set to join the Chanticleers' impressive recruiting class, which was ranked the best in the Sun Belt Conference by PrepVolleyball.

And surely, the addition of Stout helped boost Coastal Carolina's class ranking.

Stout will leave Santa Fe as one of the most decorated Raiders in school history after helping the program capture its first state title last season, followed by the program's second this fall.

Stout's contributions to her team's success helped her pick up individual accolades along the way, including being named Florida Dairy Farmers' Miss. Volleyball back-to-back seasons. Stout learned she had repeated as Miss. Volleyball just hours before her signing ceremony on Wednesday.

"It's really hard to wrap my head around," Stout said of repeating as Miss. Volleyball. "It's super cool and I'm super grateful that I've been able to experience it not only once, but twice now."

Stout becomes just the second volleyball player in the 31-year history of the award to win it back-to-back seasons.

Through her four-year career at Santa Fe, Stout tallied 1,614 kills, 1,646 assists, 1,089 digs and 167 aces − all of which helped her garner the attention of a number of college volleyball programs.

But once Stout visited CCU, which is located just west of Myrtle Beach, she knew she had found her home.

"The campus is beautiful itself," Stout said. "But other than that, the girls are super sweet and I really enjoy them. The volleyball program is good and I love the assistant coach Chad Sutton. He reminds me a lot of Coach Eric (Marshall) and I'm super it's excited it's gonna be an easier transition."

Once at Coastal Carolina, Stout intends to study psychology.

Dorlouis heads north to UMES

As Santa Fe's coaches gushed about their pair of signees, the theme of the talk surrounding Dorlouis was that she never believed she was as good as she actually was.

However, if Dorlouis didn't believe in herself prior to coming to Santa Fe, her last two seasons with the Raiders should leave her convinced.

After joining the Raiders last season, Dorlouis has since tallied 860 assists, 614 digs, 379 kills and 80 assists, which caught the attention of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, a Division I program in Princess Anne, MD.

"When they first texted me, they were super interested," Dorlouis said of UMES recruiting her. "When I visited the school, it just clicked right then... Just going there on my first visit, it was kind of a dream and a super easy process for me."

Dorlouis claims to love the snow. However, the jury's still out on whether she'll enjoy living in it.

"I don't know if I'll enjoy living in it," admitted Dorlouis, who is still narrowing down her field of study.
