Micheál Martin has taken aim at “the complete lack of empathy for farming people in some corners of the Dáil”.

In an exclusive interview with the Farming Independent ahead of Friday’s general election, the Tánaiste and Fianna Fáil leader says he is “disconcerted” by the negative position some politicians are taking towards rural Ireland.
