EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon's Chinese Heritage is the center of a display going up at the University of Oregon's Museum of Natural and Cultural History.
The exhibit highlights the 150-year history of Chinese communities in Oregon.
The exhibit uses personal histories and archaeological finds to help tell the story of one of the state's oldest non-indigenous communities and their contributions to farming, mining, and many other trades vital to Oregon.
The exhibit opens this Friday, Feb. 21, and will run through 2026.
