Farmers want to grow love too, and Farmer Wants a Wife gives them a (televised) shot at finding their happily ever after.

Based on a British show of the same name, the dating show first premiered on the CW back in 2008, airing from April to June that year.

The show went off-air and wouldn't return until Fox announced a reboot in 2023. Season 1 of the reboot premiered with four farmers — Allen Foster, Ryan Black, Hunter Grayson and Landon Heaton — planting seeds of romance. Season 2 followed in 2024 and introduced us to Brandon Rogers, Mitchell Kolinsky, Nathan Smothers and Ty Ferrell, who were also searching for their soulmates.

Come March 20, viewers will be treated to a new set of agricultural bachelors looking for love. Season 3 premieres with John Sansone, Jay Woods, Matt Warren and Colton Hendricks at the helm. Kimberly Paisley-Williams will also be stepping in as host after Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles hosted the first two seasons.

As we look ahead to the third installation of Farmer Wants a Wife, see where the couples and runner-ups from the first two seasons are now.

Hailing from Santa Fe, Tennessee, Farmer Allen was looking for a lady who would settle with him and help run his 200-acre cattle ranch. At the end of the season, he thought he found love in Khelsi Stone, a teacher from Georgia.

However, Foster and Stone didn't go the distance. Two days after the finale aired, Foster confirmed he was no longer with Stone in an Instagram post.

"What an incredible journey and opportunity this has been! I came into this with an open mind and open heart!" he wrote.

"Farmer Wants a Wife didn’t end how I’d hope as far as a relationship, however, I have gained friendships and had opportunities that will last a lifetime!"

Both Foster and Stone appear to still be single.

It would seem a life with California horse trainer Rebecca Rosell would have been an easy fit for Farmer Allen. However, he felt more drawn to Stone, and that's why he sent Rosell home.

Rosell continues to live her life as a horse trainer in the Golden State. Her aesthetically pleasing Instagram is filled with cool photos of her horseback riding life, scenic adventures and rare but special moments with loved ones.

Hunter Grayson and Meghan Baker (Season 1 Winner)

Hunter Grayson's connection with event coordinator Meghan Baker was so strong, the passing of her grandfather didn't stop her from pursuing the connection with the horse and cattle rancher.

The Texan had to return home while filming after finding out her grandfather had died. When asked to come back, she did, and the sacrifice seemed to have been well worth it, as Grayson chose her in the end.

By June 2024, however, the couple had split.

"I’ve never in my life had to make a break up post before so bear with me…. Break ups are hard enough without having to post about them but I guess this is what I get for signing up for this wild adventure," she wrote on Facebook.

"God only knows who he has in store for my life. I know that He put me on #farmerwantsawife for a reason. Thank you all for following along on 'our' journey. Please remember we are both human and sometimes things just don’t work out, but we wish each other the best!"

It seems Baker got her heart's desire as she announced in April 2024 that she got married to a man named Nick Melillo. The happy couple are expecting a baby due this April.

It appears Grayson is still single.

Sydney Groom (Season 1 Runner-Up)

Grayson's runner-up was Sydney Groom, towards whom he gravitated from the beginning. Though the dimpled beauty from Cross City, Florida didn't find love with the cattle rancher, she continues to be "chronically single and forever kinda funny," according to her Instagram page. It appears she's leaned into content creation, with a focus on fashion and beauty.

Landon Heaton and Ashley Larea (Season 1 Winner)

Landon Heaton came down to two Ashleys in the season finale as he had to make a choice between Ashley Larea, the executive coordinator from Texas, and Ashley Rader, the telehealth worker from Orlando.

Ultimately, he went with Larea, but they weren't a couple for long. In a now-deleted post, Larea opened up about their split on Instagram. "At the finale in December, we were completely changed and hopeful in our future ahead,” Larea wrote, per TVLine.

“After the show stopped filming, the pressure of things beyond my control took a toll and ultimately we decided to go our separate ways in January.”

For his part, Farmer Landon explained that "unforeseen circumstances" led to the couple's split, writing, "I know what I was looking for going into this, but wasn't sure what I'd find."

He continued, "What I found was an amazing raw connection with a fantastic person. Following the final days of filming, due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to be home with my family, and then life got busy. Ashley and I made the decision to go our separate way in January 2023, in an effort to adjust back to 'normal life.' "

Both Larea and Heaton appear to be single.

Prior to choosing Ashley Larea, Heaton contemplated a life with Ashley Rader. And while he said he could see them riding off into the sunset together, his heart was with Ashley Larea at the time, and that's who he went with.

Rader moved on and seemingly went back to living a low-key life in Florida.

Ryan Black and Haley Ramirez (Season 1 Winner)

This pairing might have had the most turbulent relationship, relatively speaking. Haley Ramirez was sent home after she called out Farmer Ryan for being emotionally unavailable. The horse trainer and breeder at first played it cool but then realized he really missed Haley's presence.

In the season finale, he went to her hometown of New York to try and get her back. After agreeing to come back to his Shelby, North Carolina farm, Ramirez admitted she wasn't ready to fully open up to Black all over again and they broke up.

They both appear to still be single.

Sara Vincent (Season 1 Runner-Up)

Farmer Ryan's runner-up was Sara Vincent, a bartender from Brea, California. Going into the season finale, Vincent wasn't sure where she stood with the farmer as he, again, didn't express his emotions enough. For his part, Black let her go because he was unsure that they could forge a solid romantic connection.

Following her time on the show, Vincent went back to life as usual and is back in California.

Brandon Rogers and Grace Girard (Season 2 Winner)

Season 2 introduced viewers to four new farmers, one of whom was Brandon Rogers, a potato and barley farmer from Colorado. At the finale, Brandon's top pick was Grace Girard, a communications associate from Milwaukee. Their relationship was short-lived, however, as the pair revealed they were no longer together at the reunion show.

While Rogers appears to be single, Girard found new love and hard-launched her beau Trevor Jung, transit director of the City of Racine, last October.

Emerson Sears (Season 2 Runner-Up)

Sears' presence on the farm shook things up as she joined the crew once the process had already been underway. Still, the college counselor from Elkhart, Iowa held her own and was a runner-up for Rogers.

It appears Sears has retreated from life in the spotlight and is choosing to live her life privately.

Mitchell Kolinsky and Sydney Errera (Season 2 Winner)

Mitchell Kolinsky and Sydney Errera had an undeniable connection on the show and they are still going strong! The first-generation farmer from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, fell in love with the construction worker from Sweetwater, New Jersey, and the pair have managed to make their relationship work in spite of their long-distance beginnings.

The two can be seen kayaking, fishing, and of course, hanging out on Kolinsky's farm, on their Instagram pages.

Kait Smith (Season 2 Runner-Up)

It was quite apparent that the breakup with Farmer Mitchell hit runner-up Kait Smith hard as she reflected on the fact that her reserved personality may have played a part in the two of them not connecting.

However, it appears the Tennessee native got her happily ever after, as she and her beau Lucas Phillips welcomed a baby boy named Rowdy Jack on Jan. 25.

Nathan Smothers and Taylor BeDell (Season 2 Winner)

Another success story from the show: Nathan Smothers and Taylor BeDell are still going strong, almost a year after the reunion aired. The citrus and cattle farmer from Bartow, Florida, had an instant connection with the Texas native and though she hadn't relocated at the time of the reunion, she expressed plans to do so in the near future — and judging by recent videos of the two slow-dancing on the farm, she followed through.

Though things didn't work out for Allye Wright and Farmer Nathan, it seems she has also found love off the show. The digital marketing specialist appears to be in a relationship with a man named Adam Carver, whom she posted as recently as last week.

Ty Ferrell

Farmer Ty Ferrell shocked everyone when he chose to end his journey solo, sending home both his final two girls, Megan Lay and Melody Fernandez. While he stood by his decision at the reunion, both women took issue with how he handled the matter, with Fernandez warning he "might've just missed a really good thing" with Lay.

While Ferrell and Fernandez appear to still be single, it seems Lay has found her forever as she recently welcomed a daughter named Peyton James with her partner Joe Glennon.
