Here’s what’s happening March 21-23 in Wisconsin
WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Here are 7 Big events happening across Wisconsin.
1. Antique Show & Sale in Schofield
This weekend is the annual Antique Show & Sale in Schofield. Check out the treasures from 50 booths selling the best of the past. See the beauty of the workmanship and quality that Antiques are made of. Featuring period furniture, stoneware, toys, primitives, MCM, Art Pottery and Glass, Farm, Cabin & Garden Finds, advertising, Americana, Textiles, Fine jewelry, Turquoise, postcards, Native Am. booth, Shabby Chic, Ephemera, Military, Brewerania and so much more!
The show is at D.C. Everest Sr. High School, Greenheck Field House, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $7 for both days, under 16 is free.
2. March Madness hits Milwaukee
The madness in March is hitting Milwaukee. Fiserv Forum, home of the Milwaukee Bucks, will host two rounds of the NCAA tournament. The city is expecting about 19,000 people this weekend with some visitors buying tickets for both Friday and Sunday.
3. Fond du Lac Agricultural Showcase
Everything agriculture will be on display in Fond du Lac this weekend. Featured businesses include those involved in the production of food goods, agricultural products, and more! In addition to interactive, family-friendly educational exhibits, beer, wine, sausage, and cheese sampling is offered. The event is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, admission is free.
4. Full-throttle fun at Moster Jam
All weekend long, feel the thrill of full-throttle fun. The Resch Center will roar to life with gravity-defying stunts and heart-pounding races with Monster Jam. Cheer on the world’s best drivers as they battle for the event championship in four competitions: Racing, Skills, Donuts, and everyone’s favorite, Freestyle, where Monster Jam trucks defy the laws of physics and do the impossible. 5. Wis. Sports Show in Eau Claire
Enjoy the largest recreational sports show in western Wisconsin. Friday through Sunday, check out over 200 exhibitors, boats, ATVs, hunting and fishing retail, seminars, and much more. The expo will be held at the Chippewa Valley Expo Center.
6. New ‘Dublin’ St. Patrick’s Day Parade
You still have time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in what was New London.
The week’s long festivities will wrap up with one of Wisconsin’s largest St. Patrick’s Day parades. It includes; bagpipe bands, marching bands, festive clowns, specialty units, clans, Finnegan’s Wake, and business floats. Afterward, check out ‘New Dublin Irish Fest’ featuring Celtic bands, Irish food, beverages, and market booths.
7. Annual Farm Toy and Craft Show
Join the Thorp FFA Alumni for their Annual Farm Toy and Craft Show. Lunch will be available, door prizes, and over 200 tables of toy tractor, equipment, displays, crafts, and vendors.
It will be Sunday, March 23, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5, kids 10 and under are free.
