      Adams County restaurant reopens after illness outbreak
      An Adams County restaurant that shut down this week after an illness outbreak has reopened. C&D Bar & Grill on York Road in New Oxford said in a Facebook post that the Department of Agriculture did an inspection Friday morning after the restaurant underwent deep cleaning.The eatery said the department confirmed prevention activities have been sufficiently implemented in response to the potential norovirus outbreak that sickened customers.The inspection didn't find any evidence of food poisoning, according to the bar and grill.The Facebook post went on to say, "We understand the severity of this situation and greatly appreciate everyone who attributed to making us aware. Our thoughts are with everyone who fell ill directly or indirectly. We take great pride in our restaurant and staff, and know our customers are the ones who truly are the heart of it all."Customer surveyThe Department of Health continues to gather information about the outbreak.Anyone who ate food from C&D or Rocks Lounge after March 9, whether they became sick or not, is asked to fill out an online survey.
