Downtown Sioux Falls has announced its participating businesses for Restaurant Week this April.

Restaurant Week is an annual event featuring a dozen downtown establishments offering an exclusive dish that will only be served during the two-week event, which is April 3-17.

To participate, local chefs work with South Dakota farmers to craft a unique, limited-time dish that is not on their menu.

The event is in partnership with Dakotah Bank and Hungry for Truth, an advocacy initiative from the S.D. Soybean Research and Promotion Council and the Soybean Checkoff Organization.

“Downtown Restaurant Week is a chance to celebrate our local chefs and their creativity," said Jeb Cooper, marketing manager for DTSF. “Diners can enjoy unique dishes made just for this event, making it a delicious way to support our downtown restaurants.”

Here's a look at who is participating and what they will serve:

  • Ironwood Steakhouse will serve wood-fire grilled lamb chops
  • Holiday Inn City Centre, sautéed mussels
