Iran, Japan to Hold Disarmament Dialogue

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran and Japan are going to hold a round of talks on human rights and disarmament, an Iranian deputy foreign minister said.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi said in a post on X on Sunday that he has held a meeting with Japan’s ambassador to Tehran.

He said they have discussed the state of relations between Iran and Japan, the upcoming consultations, and the latest developments surrounding Iran’s nuclear program and the removal of sanctions.

Gharibabadi noted that Iran and Japan will soon hold a new round of dialogue on human rights and bilateral consultations about disarmament.
