The representative of the Afghan Executive called as mere propaganda the claims from Washington of an alleged continuity of financial support to the interim government as in previous administrations.
Mansour emphasized that no direct U.S. aid had reached the Islamic Emirate and that the funds flowing into Afghanistan came only from international organizations.
The United States has suffered such a humiliating defeat that it would not dare to send us aid again, he said.
According to the Afghan official, 80 percent of the financial aid provided by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is used by them for salaries and other expenses, and only 20 percent contributes to development projects such as the construction of irrigation canals and small bridges.
On the other hand, he urged officials to listen patiently to the concerns of the population and to resolve them promptly, since their authority emanates from the people, he said.
Finally, he remarked that all policies and decisions of the Islamic Emirate were in accordance with Islamic teachings and Afghan traditions, thus ruling out any possible Western interference in the country.

Kabul, 3 abr (Prensa Latina) El ministro interino de Energía y Agua de Afganistán, Latif Mansour, afirmó hoy que Estados Unidos no ha proporcionado ayuda alguna a su gobierno, de acuerdo con la agencia local de noticias Pajhwok.
Cuerpo : El representante del Ejecutivo afgano calificó de mera propaganda las afirmaciones desde Washington de una supuesta continuidad del apoyo financiero al gobierno interino al igual que en administraciones anteriores.
Mansour enfatizó que ninguna ayuda estadounidense directa había llegado al Emirato Islámico y que los fondos que ingresaban a Afganistán provenían únicamente de organizaciones internacionales.
Estados Unidos ha sufrido una derrota tan humillante que no se atrevería a enviarnos ayuda de nuevo, significó.
Según el funcionario afgano, el 80 por ciento de la ayuda financiera aportada por las organizaciones no gubernamentales (ONG) son usados por estas en salarios y otros gastos, y que solo el 20 por ciento contribuyen a proyectos de desarrollo como la construcción de canales de riego y pequeños puentes.
Por otra parte, instó a los funcionarios a escuchar con paciencia las preocupaciones de la población y a resolverlas con prontitud, ya que su autoridad emana del pueblo, dijo.
Por último, remarcó que todas las políticas y decisiones del Emirato Islámico se ajustaban a las enseñanzas islámicas y las tradiciones afganas, descartando así cualquier posible interferencia occidental en el país.
