The post sent cereal fans into a spin, with many saying they were heading straight to stores to stock up

One eagle-eyed shopper shared the find online, posting: “Bargain – scanning at 69p in Asda. Not sure if they’re new or just trying to sell them off but thought it was a good deal.”

The post sent cereal fans into a spin, with many saying they were heading straight to stores to stock up.

Froot Loops have long been a family favourite but are usually priced higher due to their imported status or limited availability in UK supermarkets.

ASDA has not confirmed if this is part of a wider promotion or a store-specific deal, so eager shoppers may want to check their local branch quickly before stock vanishes.

The cereal giant has recently unveiled two brand-new cereals just months after one of its tasiest breakfast staples was axed.

Kellogg's Oaties, a crunchy oat-based cereal, is not on sale in four major supermarkets, Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, and Sainsbury's priced a £3.49 for a 500g pack.

Oaties come in Original Crunch and Choco Crunch flavours and are designed to stay crispy, even in milk.

Each bite is packed with fibre and fortified with essential vitamins including B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, and iron – all aimed at giving your metabolism a morning boost.

Kellogg’s said it took months of food development to create the "unique, multilayered texture" that keeps the cereal crunchy.

The brand added that the oat and cereal flours were carefully blended with quality ingredients, then cooked and shaped into pillow-like pieces.

Both flavours are also non-HFSS, meaning they’re not high in fat, salt or sugar – and contain up to 8.9g of fibre per 100g.
