New Taco Bell menu combining multiple classics sends fans into meltdown: 'It slaps!'
Taco Bell is spicing up its menu with a sizzling new lineup announced at its second annual Live Más event in New York.
Taco Bell is heating things up with some fiery new menu items that combine favorites from past menus.
The Mexican fast-food giant said its newest additions are the Crispalupa, Cantina Chicken Crunchy Taco, and Flamin' Hot Burrito. The fast-food titan has already introduced the Flamin' Hot Burrito, filled with a brand-new Flamin' Hot rice, and the Quesocrisp Taco, featuring a revolutionary taco shell made entirely of crispy cheese at its second annual Live Más event in New York.
But that's not all. For the 2025 menu, Taco Bell is bringing back some fan favorites, including Crispy Chicken Nuggets and the nostalgic Decades Menu, paying tribute to the 2000s and 2010s.
Fan reactions over the items were overwhelmingly positive, with many in meltdown over their excitement. "Now, everything in this one looks delicious," writes one user. Another wrote, "Literally all I need is that flaming hot burrito." Someone else joked, "It's a Chalupa... With corners." Another laughed, "Guess you just call me Big Crispalupa now."
And if you were on the fence, one enthusiastic eater reviewed: "THE CRISPALUPA SLAPS!!! if you got it and didn't like it, they messed yours up. that shell was INCREDIBLE. might be my fav new item."
Earlier this year, Taco Bell introduced a revamped value meal concept, offering $5, $7, and $9 Luxe Cravings Boxes, each packed with Taco Bell classics. These budget-friendly meals are expected to be available until June.
While Taco Bell hasn't announced exact launch dates for the new items, some treats, like the Milk Bar Birthday Cake Churros, have already arrived at Taco Bell locations nationwide.
"For more than 60 years, Taco Bell has been crafting bold, beautiful flavors that ignite cravings and redefine what's possible. Our fans inspire us to push boundaries, break the rules, and explore the limitless potential of flavor. We're not just making food; we're creating experiences that surprise, delight, and keep people coming back for more," said Liz Matthews, Taco Bell's chief food innovation officer, at the event.
Taco Bell has also given fans a glimpse into its test kitchen, revealing potential new menu items. The fast-food titan is teaming up with Brooklyn-based condiment brand Bushwick Kitchen on a new sauce - Weak Knees Fire.
This sauce merges Taco Bell's signature Fire sauce with Bushwick Kitchen's Weak Knees Gochujang Sriracha, creating a smoky, spicy flavor with a hint of citrus. They're also crafting a new sauce with Zab's Hot Ranch that fuses the flavors Zab's is famous for with Taco Bell's Spicy Ranch sauce.
Other culinary experiments include crispy Fajitas featuring tempura-battered bell pepper, onions and jalapeños served with white habanero ranch for dipping, and Queso Fundido Rolled Chicken Taquitos stuffed with chicken and paired with a green chili queso fundido dip.
They might also introduce brisket tacos, poutine fries, a bed of seasoned fries topped with pork and gravy, a Mexican pizza empanada and an ube strawberry cookie for dessert.
Taco Bell is owned by YUM Brands, which also owns KFC, Pizza Hut, and Habit Burger & Grill brands and has 61,000 restaurants in more than 155 countries. It's a 'spin-off of PepsiCo.'
