CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — Treasure Valley's Rugged Idaho Expo runs from April 18-19 this year to ensure you are fully outfitted for your next Idaho adventure, whether camping, grilling, fishing or hunting.
The expo, held at Indian Creek Plaza, will add a full lineup of speakers and experiences from Sasquatch calling to fire starting and an outdoor cooking exhibition.
Grab a partner and sign up for the Rugged Idaho Cornhole Tournament. Every skill level is welcome to participate. Participants are asked to be 12 years old or older.
On Friday night, Jordan Shaw will perform on the main stage with his country originals and covers.
Steve Weston, author of the bestselling outdoor cookbook, "In the Wild Chef," Steve is coming down to the Idaho Central Credit Union's Indian Creek Plaza's main stage on Saturday at 11 a.m. for his live cooking demonstration. Learn tricks and tips and hear stories about Steve's high-elevation adventures.
Learn the basics of fire building and maintenance from Idaho's Clinton Minor, founder of Sage to Sawtooth Bushcraft. For decades, Clinton has shared survival, trail craft, preparedness and bushcraft tips through in-person training, YouTube videos, blogs and an online store of gear made in Idaho.
