LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville nonprofit is accepting vendor applications for the 2025 West End Farmers Market.

Change Today, Change Tomorrow opened vendor applications for this year's farmers market, which will remain open until April 30. According to a news release, all local farmers, growers, food producers and artisans, especially Black-led vendors, are encouraged to apply.

The West End Farmers Market provides free fresh produce and local products twice a month during the summer in the California neighborhood. Taylor Ryan founded Change Today, Change Tomorrow in 2019 to give back to underserved communities in west Louisville. Residents in the area are disproportionately affected by a lack of access to fresh and healthy food options, Ryan wrote in a Change.org petition in 2023.

The farmers market accepts SNAP benefits and participates in the Kentucky Double Dollars program through Community Farm Alliance.

Last month, Change Today, Change Tomorrow received a $300,000 pledge from an anonymous UK-based donor to advance food justice and sustainable community health. The pledge means that there is no vendor fee required to participate this year.

“We’re building something for us, by us,” T’Von Terry, CTCT’s West End Farmers Market Director, said in a news release. “This market isn’t just about food—it’s about cultural power, economic opportunity, and self-determination.”

The farmers market is the only one in the west end, according to a news release.

The farmers market runs from May 4 through Oct. 5. It operates biweekly from 3-7 p.m. at California Park.

A virtual vendor information session will be held April 21 from 6-7:30 p.m.
