As of September 13, Belarusian agrarians harvested 185.1 thsd tonnes of corn for grain throughout the areas of 162 thsd ha, or 14.6% of the planned areas. The average yield totaled 7.8 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
Also, agrarians harvested sugar beet throughout 12.3 thsd ha, or 12% of the plan, while the production reached 512 thsd tonnes, the yield — 41.51 t/ha, and the sugar degree — 16.04%.
In addition, Belarus harvested 547 thsd tonnes of rapeseed throughout 341 thsd ha, or 99.2% of the planned areas, with the average yield of 1.6 t/ha, including 94.7 thsd tonnes of spring rapeseed with the yield of 1.42 t/ha.
At the same time, agrarians already planted winter grains for the harvest-2019 throughout 438 thsd ha, or 33.5% of the plan (1.31 mln ha).
