Burundi's Foreign minister jets in

Luanda, ANGOLA, March 12 - The Foreign Affairs minister of Burundi Nyamitwe Alain Aime arrived Monday in Luanda for a two-day working visit to strengthen bilateral cooperation, Angop has learnt from a source close to Foreign Affairs Ministry. ,

 

The top diplomat is due to be received in audience by the Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço.

 

The visiting agenda include meeting with his Angolan counterpart, Manuel Augusto.

 

At the Luanda's "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport, the minister, who did speak to the press, was welcomed by his country's diplomats in Angola and senior officials of the Angolan Foreign Ministry.

 

Angola and Burundi are members of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (CIRGL).

 

Both countries have been working toward the increase of political, agricultural and mining cooperation.
