LITTLETON, CO, USA, August 23, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The World Food Bank is pleased to announce that our Chairman and CEO Richard Lackey has been selected to speak at the upcoming TEDxWilmington Conference in Wilmington, Del.

The event will be held on Sept. 27, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Figure 8 Barn in Bellevue State Park.

The theme of the TEDxWilmington Conference is "Now What?," and featured speakers will be exploring the question of how we step forward to create solutions to global problems during a time when we all have access to an unceasing flow of information and ideas. "With so many amazing resources at our fingertips, we pose the important question of what to do with it all. What is the next step in the right direction? NOW WHAT?"

Mr. Lackey will be speaking specifically about the Zero Hunger Formula, an initiative The World Food Bank is undertaking to develop an algorithm for solving hunger on the planet.

From leaders at the UN World Food Programme to the world’s largest NGOs and development experts, Mr. Lackey sees the World Food Bank as the catalyzing entity for permanently lifting tens of millions of farmers out of poverty while securing the world’s food supply into the future.

By providing and promoting collaborative, market-based solutions to the vast problem of hunger, Mr. Lackey and the World Food Bank believe fully that hunger on our planet can be eliminated through the implementation of a new, innovative system for governing and investing in food systems that includes participation from private sector companies, public sector entities, and NGOs.
