Calistoga Harvest Table® set for September 9, 2018

CALISTOGA, CA, UNITED STATES, August 30, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The culinary scene in Calistoga will hold center stage on its main street as the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce prepares for the fifth annual Calistoga Harvest Table® event on Sunday, Sept. 9. Calistoga Harvest Table® presents the perfect opportunity for guests to enjoy the best cuisine offered in Calistoga, with 12 local restaurants and 49 wineries prepared to welcome visitors and locals to a 1,000-foot-long table in the center of the city’s picturesque downtown.

As one of the most sought after annual events in the Napa Valley, tickets sold out in less than two hours; however, a few tickets have since become available. From 4:30-6pm, visitors without dinner tickets are welcome to mingle downtown and enjoy Calistoga area wines available for purchase by glass or bottle. Dinner will be served for almost 800 guests beginning at 6pm.

“Calistoga Harvest Table® highlights Calistoga’s world-class wines and diversity of dishes created by the town’s most impressive culinary talents,” said Chris Canning, executive director at the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce and Welcome Center. “Harvest Season is a great time to discover why Wine Enthusiast Magazine voted Calistoga as one of the Top 10 Wine Destinations in the World.”

This year’s list of participating restaurants are All Seasons Bistro, Café Sarafornia, Calistoga Inn, Lovina (formerly Calistoga Kitchen), Checkers Restaurant, Culinary Institute of America, Evangeline, Hydro Bar & Grill, Napa Valley Crust, Sam’s Social Club, Tanit Pan-Asian, and Véraison. Attendees will enjoy a wide variety of incredible culinary offerings, from enticing Asian fusion and innovative takes on classic California dishes to delectable seafood and much more. Menus and wineries are listed online at CalistogaHarvestTable.com.

As part of the buildup to a July 16 sell-out on ticket sales, Santa Rosa resident Randy Key was the lucky winner of two Calistoga Harvest Table® tickets, a bottle of Calistoga AVA wine to enjoy with dinner, two tickets to the prior evening’s Calistoga Wine Experience at Pioneer Park, and a two-night stay at The Bergson from September 8 to 10.

Guests at Calistoga Harvest Table® are highly encouraged to plan overnight reservations for the entire weekend with the option to attend a few pre-events, such as the Calistoga Winegrowers’ “Winemaker Roundtable” education seminar at Bennett Lane Winery on Friday, Sept. 7 from 2-4:30pm, moderated by television personality Leslie Sbrocco, and the Calistoga Wine Experience at Pioneer Park on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 4-7pm. Ticket holders at both events will be able to meet some of the owners and winemakers of 40-plus Calistoga AVA wineries. Visit CalistogaWinegrowers.com for more information.

Whether you visit to taste extraordinary wines or take a dip in the naturally-heated geothermal pools– Calistoga has something for everyone. Spend the weekend during Calistoga Harvest Table® and get lost in the beauty of this premier destination within the Napa Valley.
