Canada is a global leader in the development of African mining sectors,’ says Garreth Bloor, President of The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business. ‘The industry has laid a foundation for Canada’s broader economic engagement with Africa and is thus vital a blueprint for Canada’s trade diversification, of which Africa is an integral part – as the Business Council of Canada correctly noted last year during Prime Minister Trudeau’s visit to Africa.’
