Governor Pillen Seeks Applicants for Director of Nebraska State Historical Society

LINCOLN, NE – Governor Jim Pillen is accepting applications for director of the Nebraska State Historical Society. This year, the Legislature approved, and the Governor signed LB1169, making the Historical Society a code agency. As with other code agencies, the director is appointed by the Governor and subject to legislative approval.

Applications may be submitted through the Governor’s website at: https://governor.nebraska.gov/board-comm-req

Governor Jim Pillen was sworn in as Nebraska’s 41st Governor on January 5, 2023. He enters office with the goal of protecting, training, and keeping our kids in Nebraska, cutting taxes, growing agriculture, and defending our commonsense, conservative values.
