Co-owned by comedian Ricky Gervais, who joined the brand in 2023, Dutch Barn Vodka is made at Ellers Farm Distillery in Yorkshire.

Launched in 2020, the B Corp-certified vodka is crafted with locally-sourced British apples and potato spirit.

Chris Fraser, founder and chair of Ellers Farm Distillery, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Opici Wines & Spirits. They not only have an extensive reach and understanding of the US drinks market but also share our passion for quality and excellence.

“We are extremely proud of Dutch Barn Vodka, and this partnership will allow us to introduce our amazing product to a whole new audience in the world’s largest vodka market.”

Gervais added: “Since the day we launched, I’ve been getting asked about when Dutch Barn would be available in the US. Well, I’m very excited to announce that the answer is now. I can’t wait for everyone to try it and see just how good vodka can be.”

The brand is committed to sustainability, including its lightweight, label-free brown bottle made from 68% recycled glass.

Dutch Barn is said to adhere to the standards and values of B Corp certification, focusing on positive impacts on society and the environment.

Ellers Farm Distillery is 20% employee-owned and aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2040.

Additionally, the distillery has taken a regenerative approach by enriching local biodiversity, planting 361 trees across 28 different varieties in its orchards.

Don Opici, CEO of Opici Wines & Spirits, said: “We are delighted to welcome Dutch Barn Vodka to our portfolio. Their commitment to quality, value, and integrity aligns perfectly with our longstanding mission.

“We are very excited to introduce their vodka in the US and to work closely with the Dutch Barn team to grow their business.”

Dutch Barn Vodka has an SRP of US$30 and will be available from 31 March in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland and Washington DC, before expanding to other states throughout the country.

In addition to its core expression, the brand introduced Black Cherry, Mediterranean Citrus, and Balinese Vanilla flavoured vodkas in November 2024.

Last September, the brand signed an exclusive travel retail distribution deal with Free World Brands.
